Visa Fees can only be paid by Bank Transfer in Embassy’s bank account. Bank account information will be given after submission of application form and all required documentation. We do not accept personal Debit cards / Credit cards / Cheques / Cash / Payments in other currencies. Fees are subject to change, as prescribed by the Government of India.
Applications for all passport and consular services are received at the counter from 0900 hours to 1200 hours on all working days

- Please select correct category of visa for check list of required documents. For categories of visa not covered, please e mail us at cons.reykjavik@mea.gov.in
- The Embassy of India reserve the right to ask for additional documents if required
- The validity of visa starts from the date of its issue and not from the date of person’s entry in India
- Acceptance of visa application does not automatically guarantee grant of a visa
- Visa fee is for processing charges. Once received fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances, even if in case of visa is denied or visa is granted for a shorter period than applied for
- All applicants should check the details in their visas immediately after collection, and bring any discrepancies to the notice of the Consular staff without delay for clarification / rectification, If not, the Embassy will not bear any responsibility thereafter
