Noted Bharatanatyam artiste Smt Bala Devi Chandrasekhar delivered a performance and participatory workshop at the University of Arts, Reykjavik, 21 Oct 2021. The event forms part of the “AzadiKaAmritMahotsav” celebrations organised with local partners commemorating India@75. Students from the University, Indian nationals, and Friends of India attended the event that was followed by a lively Q&A session. Ambassador B. Shyam indicated that Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) scholarships for dance are available for those willing to learn at reputed cultural institutions in India.
